  5. The Kirk Session will meet on Tuesday 4 April at 7.30pm in the Small Hall.

The congregation of Hillington Park have kindly agreed to let Jean stay in their Manse during his period of familiarisation; Alison, Dietrich and Moya are now looking forward to joining Jean at the beginning of May. We do need help to make the manse at Hillington Park comfortable for Jean and his family, so if you could help provide furniture, items for the kitchen and such like please speak to the minister, Derek Robertson or Robert Belmore.

  1. We will gather for Evening Worship in the Small Hall at 6.30pm; our theme will be ‘Facets of the Cross’
  2. We meet for Bible Study & Prayer on Wednesday at 7.30pm.
  3. Last Sunday’s retiring offering for the work of the Wheel Trust amounted to £120, we thank everyone for their generosity.
  4. The Congregational Annual Stated Meeting will be after morning worship on Sunday 26 March.
  5. The Guild meets this Wednesday, 22nd March at 2 p.m. for a talk on “Prospects – All friends together” suggesting ways of making churches more inclusive for those with learning or physical difficulties. This is one of the projects we are supporting over 3 years.
  6. Articles for the April edition of The Herald should be sent to John Goddard no later than Monday lunchtime.
  7. A Presbytery service of Ordination will be held on Sunday 2nd April at 7pm in Hyndland Parish Church, when Ruth Forsythe will be introduced as the OLM for Broomhill linked with Hyndland. All are welcome at this service. There will no evening service in BVP to allow everyone attend this service.

  4. The Guild meets on Tuesday evening (14th) at 7.30pm to hear a fascinating talk by the Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Dunbartonshire. Jordanhill Guild will join us then.
